Ana Mardesic

Born in Croatia in 1999, is an artist with a background in Art History and Pedagogy, currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in painting at RUFA, Rome.
Working in hyperrealism, she evokes familiarity and connection through intricate portrayals of everyday scenes and emotions. Her art captures subtle gestures and inner states, creating profound depth and complexity.
“People in the Roman Metro” oil paintings focus on the diverse individuals in the metro system. These works highlight the bustling, often impersonal nature of public transit, where people share space yet remain isolated.

Hafsa Moin

Born in Pakistan in 1996, specializes in painting and sculpture. She is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in painting at RUFA, Rome.
Her work, spanning oil painting, printmaking, and performance art, encourages viewers to reevaluate perceptions and embrace vulnerability. She invites introspection, empathy, and societal transformation.
“Porta di Roma: Urban Narratives” captures Rome’s neighborhoods through watercolor paintings of doors, each containing a map of its location. Inspired by Italo Calvino’s “Invisible Cities,” these works emphasize the essence of urban landscapes.
