Tracks of Freedom 2024 – Unconscious creativity

Applications to participate in the 2024 edition of Tracks of Freedom – Unconscious creativity have been officially opened.
In May, a group of RUFA students and graduates of the two-year MA in Visual and Innovation design will have the opportunity to spend an intensive 9-day period in New York City, seeking new design and artistic approaches through meetings, talks and workshops with studios of international significance and excellence in the field of visual communication.

For the 2024 edition, the programme bears the title Unconscious creativity: the search for new sensory intersections fuses the visual with other experiences and expressions, in the endless open-air laboratory that is New York City.
The experience students will have combines research, study, design work, and social and cultural insight. In fact, the programme includes both individual and group work, focused on the workshop theme and coordinated by RUFA designers and professors Emanuele Cappelli and Mario Rullo, curators of the project.

Students will be able to use all the techniques and subject areas of the communication project: advertising, unconventional and social media marketing, brand identity, interaction and multimedia design, exhibit, video, motion graphic, photo reportage.
Any hybridization, convergence and experimentation of languages is welcome, if necessary to produce an innovative and impactful project.

Like every year, the Tracks of Freedom experience will culminate with an exhibition of the projects created by the students at the striking RUFA Space exhibition space in the heart of San Lorenzo. An opportunity to display the fruits of this experience, and tell an outside audience about the personal and professional growth of each student involved.
