No distance: in the awareness that boundaries are only mental and that technology knows how to bring people together even in the most complex moments. With this vision, aimed at renewed optimism and a desire for active participation, RUFA has scheduled, for Friday 22 October starting at 10 a.m., the Welcome Day for incoming students for the academic year 2021-2022.
This is a moment of celebration and participation that allows new enrollees to become aware of the educational opportunities offered by the Academy of Fine Arts, legally recognised by the Ministry of University and Research, but also to get to know the lecturers, staff members and, of course, the services supporting education.
The Welcome Day is a sort of “New Year’s Eve made in RUFA”. Newcomers, even if in digital mode, meet each other and begin to compare notes, wonder about the future and relate to each other. Many of these bonds will translate into collaborations and projects. An attitude that acquires even more significance in this difficult historical phase. In the Academy, the student/lecturer relationship takes on a very special value. It is based not only on the educational aspect, but also on the professional one: in the certainty that ideas and creativity go hand in hand with the feeling that is created between people.
It is a day aimed at creating links and generating expectations.
The day’s proceedings were introduced, as usual, by Director Fabio Mongelli, followed by presentations by the heads of the various offices: from Riccardo Baldani (Education and Services) to Cristiana Pagnottelli (Communication and Events), from Eleonora Ghigiarelli (Erasmus and Internships) to Maeve Rodgers (International Students). And more: Lorenzo Torchia (Library and SOS Thesis desk) and Ernesto Pastore (Covid contact person). The presentation will also be interpreted in English by Ivan Mielzarek (Business international manager).
From 11 a.m. onwards, there will be the presentation of the Bachelor and Master programmes, with the presence of tutors and lecturers from the various RUFA schools. So, all you have to do is log on and enjoy the first of a long series of RUFA – Experiences.
Accessing will be easy, you just need to click on the name of the classroom in the programme that will be sent to you by email. Please note that you will need a device, such as a computer or smartphone, an internet connection, and the download of the free Zoom and Webex.
