29 April – 10 May 2024 – RUFA Space, Pastificio Cerere – Via degli Ausoni, 7.

The exhibition RSFD/UP- CYCLED TALES/No.01 recounts the journey undertaken by the first-year students of the Sustainable Fashion Design course, who tried their hand at manipulating second-hand garments and fabrics in the logic of up-cycling, inspired by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN 2030 Agenda.

The intention of the young designers was to express the individual freedom of each through an authentic and creative style, and by adopting a transdisciplinary approach: the garments, after being made in the fashion design workshop under the supervision of lecturer Guenda Cermel, were photographed and included in an editorial project coordinated by lecturer Cinzia Capparelli: images of the garments – in colour or back and white, outdoor and indoor – alternate with a graphic and super glossy representation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
