#OfficineRufa, conversation with Cesare Pietroiusti on the theme “E as Economy “

The program #OfficineRufa continues its appointments, proposing a meeting with Cesare Pietroiusti. “And as Economy”, this is the theme of comparison, is an analysis of contemporary society. What is economics today? How does it work? What relationship does it have or can it have with the work of art? Does the dematerialization of the economy coincide with that of art? Can a non-functional economy exist? These are the questions that Pietroiusti himself, artist and president of the Azienda Speciale Palaexpo in Rome, will try to solve in a conversation moderated by teachers Nicolas Martino and Fabrizio Pizzuto, which will take place Wednesday, April 10 at 11.30 am at the RUFA Pastificio Cerere headquarters in the heart of the San Lorenzo district. The meeting is open to everyone.
Officine Rufa is a calendar of cultural and artistic initiatives addressed to the student community of the Academy, but open to the whole city.
Cesare Pietroiusti, artist and co-founder of the Jartrakor Study Center, the magazine of Psychology of Art, is among the coordinators of prestigious residencies, the Oreste project at the 50th Venice Biennale and important conferences. In recent years his work has focused mainly on the theme of exchange and the paradoxes that can be created in the folds of economic systems and orders. For information: www.pensierinonfunzionali.net.
