The community beyond the academic journey

The academic journey comes to an end. Your connection with RUFA continues.

RUFAlumni is the community of artists and professionals who graduated from the Academy. A network united by shared experiences, skills and values, open to dialogue with students, lecturers and partners. Joining the community means continuing to grow, sharing projects and building new professional relationships. Because talent grows stronger when it encounters new perspectives.

RUFA keeps this shared heritage alive through opportunities for meeting and collaboration. The community connects different generations, creating an ongoing dialogue between those who study, those who teach and those working in the creative professions. Alumni can take part in Academy events, propose educational activities and share their experience. They can also access initiatives focused on visibility, mentorship and professional development.

RUFAlumni Showcase

A project needs research. But it also needs a space in which to meet its audience.

The RUFAlumni Showcase celebrates creatives who have completed their studies at RUFA. The initiative supports their artistic and professional growth after graduation.

Three times a year, for five days, selected Alumni can present their work in the Academy’s spaces. Exhibitions, screenings and installations are promoted through RUFA’s official social media channels.

How to submit a project

Applications may be submitted individually or collectively. They must include a project presentation and the materials required for its assessment.

An internal committee reviews the proposals received. For further information, please write to careers.alumni@unirufa.it.

RUFA Mentorship

Every creative career begins with questions, choices and opportunities to recognise.

The RUFA Mentorship programme creates a bridge between experienced Alumni, final-year students and recent graduates. The mentor shares their professional journey and supports the mentee through the early stages of their career.

It is an opportunity for personal exchange, growth and networking. A tangible way to turn the experience of those who have already begun their journey into a resource for those just starting out.

Alumni can apply as mentors, sharing their experience, skills and industry knowledge.

Final-year students and recent graduates can take part as mentees. Applications require a brief personal introduction.

RUFA Career System

Talent builds the future. The right tools help you reach it.

The RUFA Career System is the job-matching platform dedicated to students and Alumni. It provides access to employment, internship and collaboration opportunities aligned with each individual’s background.

Each candidate can update their CV, showcase their portfolio and respond to opportunities published by partner organisations. In this way, the platform connects creative skills with the professional market.

RUFA Career Day

A meeting can open up an opportunity. A portfolio can turn it into a professional project.

The RUFA Career Day is the annual event dedicated to meeting companies, agencies, ateliers, galleries, production companies and design studios.

Students and Alumni can present their portfolio or showreel, meet participating organisations and receive feedback. The event facilitates access to employment, internship and collaboration opportunities across the creative industries.
