The project
Our project began from the word ‘IMMAGINARIUM.’ We developed an imagery of a utopian or distopian future of Rome and in particular of San Lorenzo district. The idea starts with the foundation of a society – the E.P.O.T. Company (Evolutionary Project of Technology) – that produces A.I. robots. These robots, these androids and droid units live together with and help the inhabitants of the district. Some of these A.I. machines – while carrying their duties – get lost in the slums of the district and get cought in shady illegal activities. The final product of the project will be an art book where the concepts for the realization of the robots are described and illustrated. The work has been enriched with online research and interviews carried in San Lorenzo district.
