The course of Visual Arts, thanks to the work of professors Maria Pina Bentivenga and Fabrizio Dell’Arno, organizes two different workshops at RUFA Pastificio Cerere, in the artistic heart of the San Lorenzo district.
On Thursday 11th April, starting at 9 am, a meeting dedicated to the monotype will be held, in collaboration with Guido D’Angelo, manager of the Colart company. The company will provide the students who participate in the experience the opportunity to work with the precious Charbonnel inks. These inks have a high pigment content and even after dilution with a transparent paint retain an excellent covering capacity.
Monday, April 15, starting at 11 am, the absolute protagonist is Fabriano paper. The presentation will be enriched by the speech of Giuseppe Prezioso, manager of the prestigious company. The production of Fabriano paper began in 1264 and today follows precise rules of implementation. Melissa Pitzalis, who has made paper her main means of expression, will also be taking part.
